9.7-inch iPad Pro Tech Specs, Pricing and Release Date

Apple has now announced a new 9.7-inch iPad Pro that features hardware similar to exiting 12.9-inch iPad Pro, but Apple has upgraded a couple of things in the smaller version of iPad.

The new iPad Pro features a 9.7-inches display with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution. Apple has introduced a new True Tone Display with 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The display in new iPad comes with greater brightness and Wide Color.

9.7-inch iPad Pro features Apple A9X Processor with M9 coprocessor, 2GB RAM, Finger Print Scanner, and Hey Siri feature can also be enabled. Like 12.9-inch iPad Pro, this model also comes with four inbuilt speakers for better sound quality. It also supports Apple Pencil and new Smart Keyboard.

Apple has surprisingly upgraded the camera of iPad like iPhone 6s. The new 9.7-inch iPad pro features a 12-megapixel rear camera with true tone flash, f/2.2 Aperture, Autofocus with Focus Pixels etc.. Front camera is 5-megapixel with f/2.2 Aperture and Retina Flash. It also supports LivePhotos, and 4K Video Recording.

9.7-inch iPad Pro will be sold in WiFi and cellular version with 32GB, 128GB and 256GB Storage. It will be available in 4 colors; Silver, Gold, Space Gray and Rose Gold. Cellular version supports Nano SIM card.
