We have spotted a mysterious Sony Xperia ZG Compact model on Geekbench that went through the benchmarking test. The Xperia ZG Compact Model is being tested on GeekBench since July 27, 2017. There have been many tests, but there is no instance of the test before July 27. So what is it?
According to Geekbench Report, this Sony Xperia ZG Compact Model features a Snapdragon 810 CPU. Yes, you read it right, it’s an old processor. The processor showed up as Qualcomm 1.55 GHz Octa-Core and Motherboard appeared as MSM8994. So this is certainly a Snapdragon 810 CPU that Sony used in Xperia Z5 Series model. It scored 1315 in single-core performance and 4063 in multi-core performance. It appeared with 1812 MB RAM in all instances and was running Android 7.1.1 Operating System.

Did the device model number change from Xperia Z5 Compact to Xperia ZG Compact After Android 7.1.1 update? If it is so, why there are separate benchmark reports for Xperia Z5 Compact with Android 7.1.1 OS. The Z5 Compact model also shows little less RAM (1764 MB) compared to 1812 MB RAM in Xperia ZG Compact Model.
