The South Korean company Samsung introduced two models of its Galaxy tab S; 10.5 and 8.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 was presented with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and in the article I will discuss about the Galaxy Tab S 10.5.
Display and Design
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a 10.5 inches display and 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution. This a screen is Super AMOLED that offers a pixel density of 288 ppi. Broadly speaking, the main differences between this tablet and the Samsung Galaxy S Tab 8.5 reside in the size of the screen and the battery power, so this option is recommended for those who need to work with a larger space on the tablet.
The exact dimensions of this tablet is 247.3 x 177.3 x 6.6 mm , while the weight (considering the battery) is 467 grams. The design of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 strongly reminiscent of the lines with Samsung Galaxy S5. While in the front there is virtual button which incorporates a digital fingerprint scanner. On the back we find a rugged touch primarily intended to provide better grip when holding in you hand. The tablet shell is made of plastic as usual.
Camera and Multimedia
The primary camera of Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 incorporates a sensor of 8 megapixels which also comes with a small LED flash whose main mission is to improve the lighting in the photographs taken at night.
The secondary camera is located at the front of the tablet (specifically just above the screen). This camera features a 2.1 megapixels sensor.
Power and memory
The processor of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S varies with the version that the user purchases, Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 incorporates Exynos 5 Octa 5420 of eight cores processor that will work in two groups of four cores; 1.9 GHz and 1.3 GHz, and will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset for quad core that will word at 2.3 GHz speed.
The processor will be accompanied by a RAM of 3 gigabytes. You can choose the internal storage either 16 gigabytes or 32 gigabytes, and it also has a MicroSD external card storage slot (up to 128 gigabytes).
Operating System and Applications
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 comes standard with the Android OS in its latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat. This means that the interface of the tablet has all the new features of this operating system: icons renewed notification bar, bug fixes, revamped interface, and so on.

The built-in battery of Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a capacity of 7,900 mAh that seems to be quite well, and Samsung claims that it can give you 11 hrs of video playback once the charging is full.
The starting price of the Samsung Galaxy S Tab 10.5 is $499 for the WiFi version with 16GB internal storage. It is expected to be released in July.
