HP Launches Pavilion 10z, A Touch Laptop

HP has just launched a new touch laptop “Pavilion 10z.” This is one of the first portable machines on new processors AMD Mullins. AMD Mullins was launched by AMD some months ago to compete the mobile device market. This new family of processors will facilitate the dissemination of machines with Windows OS at attractive price, that can compete with Chromebook. AMD Mullins processors includes a turbo mode that speeds up the clock speed in certain situations.
In the case of HP Pavilion 10z , the processor is an AMD Dual-Core E1 Micro-6200T, which is supported by 2 GB RAM (DDR3L type). The graphic card is from the same manufacturer as the processor; AMD Radeon R2. It is a compact machine, with has rounded corners that fits easily into any backpack. It has a 10.1 inches display with 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. This is an LCD screen with white LED (WLED) backlit, which offers HD resolution (1366 X 768 pixels). HP Pavilion 10z has a touch screen display, so users can take full advantage of the the laptop as it comes with Windows 8.1 (64 bit).
The look of this notebook is good and its matte black color looks dashing, it is also durable to withstand everyday use. It has a complete keyboard with full-sized keys, though users can use touch whenever they wish. In terms of storage, the HP Pavilion 10z comes with hard disk of 500 GB at 5400 rpm (revolutions per minute). However, the optical drive is optional (DVD and CD).
The connection panel is located on the left side; there is a Ethernet port, the combined connector for headphone and microphone, two USB ports, and the HDMI. For wireless communication capabilities, it is equipped with wireless 802.11b/g/n series of specifications, but the Bluetooth connectivity is optional. HP pavilion 10z features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, made of three cells, which can provide the back up of up to 4 hours.
HP Pavilion 10z price starts from $249.99 in the U.S. market for the standard configuration, HP will start shipping the device in from August.
