How to Activate 2-step Verification for TikTok Account

Are you worried about losing you TikTok Account? If yes, you must activate 2-step authentication before it’s too late. Just follow the steps mentioned below

  • Open TikTok App
    • Launch the TikTok app and log in to your account.
  • Go to Profile
    • Tap on the Profile icon (bottom-right corner).

  • Access Settings & Privacy
    • Tap the ☰ (three-line menu) in the top-right corner.
    • Select Settings and privacy.

  • Navigate to Security
    • Under Account, tap Security.

  • Enable Two-Step Verification
    • Tap 2-step verification.
    • Choose your preferred verification method (e.g., SMS, Email, or Authenticator app).

  • Verify & Confirm
    • You can either scan the QR Code if the Authenticator app is installed on another device (Google or Microsoft Authenticator) or You can copy the code given there and paste it on your authenticator app. You can open Google authenticator, click on + sign and select Enter Setup Key option.
    • Then go back to the app and proceed, it will ask you to enter 2-factor authentication that appears on the Authenticator app. Once you entered correctly, you are all set.

Once activated, whenever you log in TikTok will ask you to enter the code shown on the authenticator app.
