Update : Huawei Mate 8 goes official
Just after the teaser poster of Huawei Mate 8 that suggests the launch date, it showed up on GFXBench that revealed all of its technical specifications. The spotted device on GFXBench has code name as Huawei NXT-AL10 that we expect to be Huawei Mate 8, because this is the model that would debut Kirin 950.
According to GFXBench Huawei Mate 8 would still feature a 1080 pixels 6 inches display. Compared to Huawei Mate7 there would not be any change in display size and resolution, but we also expect a pressure sensitive Force Touch Display.
Rest of the tech specs looks like the same we expected; 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, 16-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera (15 MP and 7 MP should actually be 16 MP and 8 MP, GFXBench usually shows less), and a Finger Print Sensor at the back.
The leaked detail also confirmed that Huawei Mate 8 would certainly feature Kirin 950. It’s a 64-bit octa-core processor and will be clocked at 2.2 GHz in case of Huawei Mate 8, and would be combined by ARM Mali-T880 GPU.
64GB variant of Huawei Mate 8 will feature 4GB RAM, but there could also be another variant with 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM, or Huawei may add 4GB RAM in all versions of Mate 8. All the confusions and rumors will be cleared when they announce Huawei Mate 8 on 26 November.
