Update : Huawei Mate 8 has gone official
Huawei Mate 8 has already been spotted with its full technical specifications on GFXBench with code name NXT-AL10. Now the same model has gone through GeekBench 3 benchmark test revealing its benchmark score.
Huawei Mate 8 GeekBench 3 benchmark report confirms a couple of things; the device will certainly feature 4GB RAM, Kirin 950 processor, and it would run Android 6.0 OS. GFXBench showed Kirin 950 clocked at 2.2 GHz, and Geekbench 3 is showed the same chipset but clocked at 1.8 GHz. Kirin 950 is an octa-core processor based on 64-bit architecture, so these leaks suggest that a part of quad-core would be clocked at 2.2 GHz and the other part would feature a 1.8 GHz quad-core processor.
As far as Huawei Mate 8 Benchmark score is concerned, it scored 1710 in single-core performance and 6245 in multi-core. The previous leaked benchmark score of Kirin 950 was 1909 in single-core and 6096 in multi-core performance. Now Single-core has slightly went down, and multi-core score has increased. Multiple test would give various scores, so it keep changing slightly.
In terms of multi-core benchmark score, Kirin 950 beats all the existing chipset including Snapdragon 810, Exynos 7420 and Apple A9. In Single-core performance, Apple A9 is still the best, Kirin 950 and Exynos 7420 scores almost the same (17XX). Snapdragon 820 is also far behind in multi-core performance, but it leads in Single-core. Exynos 8890 (Mongoose M1) is the only processor that has found to score more than Kirin 950 in single-core as well as multi-core benchmark.
Huawei Mate 8 would be unveiled on 26 November with 6 inches Full HD display, Kirin 950 Processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB ROM, 16-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera.
