Elephone enabled the stores due to its phone for low cost in the form of Elephone G1, and not just in China, but worldwide. It is a smartphone 4.5″ with an Ultra Small price.
The Chinese brand, known for its devices low cost, now offers to its customers the mobile that is far cheaper in the market as compare to others, with a cost of only $ 50 (about 42 € in European countries).
Do you think that is there any other android mobile is available in the market than Elephone G1?
Some features of Elephone G1 are:
4.5 inch IPS display (854 x 480 pixels)
Quad core processor at 1.3GHz MTK6582M
512 MB of RAM
ROM 4GB micro SD card slot
1.3MP front camera
5.0MP rear camera with LED flash
WCDMA + GSM Connectivity
Bluetooth 4.0
Andorid 4.4.2 KitKat
Battery 1800 mAh
Dual SIM
White, black, blue and pink colors
Dimensions and weight are not specified by the manufacturer
Although in some respects there fall short specifications that must recognize for its price we should not expect much more as it’s not much costly. In case of available functions, yes you bet on JB instead of KitKat, a version that would have sat better in the market.
Low price for almost attractive functions
The Elephone G1 is one of the most attractive in terms of price we’ve seen in the market, but we should consider its good performance. The truth is that for only $ 50 we should not expect much, but probably the customers who are interested in buying either seek more than the phone is going to offer.
It’s definitely a big step by Elephone, which is trying to expand itself in almost all markets by selling its device; and thus avoiding the additional costs of intermediaries.
What do you think about this super-low cost phone? What are the minimum requirements that you should have in a mobile cost 50 €? Please inform us about your reviews…

It is great that someone is selling new brands of Android phones as opposed to the more familiar Samsung!! All are made in China and are worth more bang for the buck at prices, generally under $150. Other good brands include Doogee and Blackview. In fact some great phones are very cheap unbranded Androids which quality and performance wise are not far from the $800 IPhones and Samsungs!
