A new feature in the Fire Phone is Firefly recognition function that can recognize books, music, TV series or barcodes in seconds by the camera, and then the device can be accessed to purchase the desired products from Amazon store. The terminal also offers a tool to provide personalized customer service, MayDay, which provides service 24 hours a day to assist the fire phone users. The company has also given priority to sound within the Fire Phone, which has two speakers, and support for Dolby Digital Plus technology.
The terminal will go on sale in the U.S. for $ 199 in its 32GB version, subjected to a two-year contract with the operator AT & T, and pre booking has already started, though shipment will start from July 25.
