Recently Apple has made littleĀ changes in its iPad Series, like launching a 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch iPad Pro and leaving Air Series behind. They would also make changes in MacBook models this year. MacBook lovers must be waiting for 2016 model, and there are a couple of things you should know about it.
There is rumor that Apple will discontinue 11-inch MacBook Air model, but why? MacBook size has always been larger than iPad, but no longer now. Apple launched iPad Pro with 12.9-inch display, and this iPad comes with a powerful processor and retina display. You can even attach Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil to get the most of it. Discontinuing 11-inch MacBook Air will give more room to iPad Pro. 12.9-inch iPad Pro sale would increase eventually.
Apple has been rumored to launch a new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro that would be very slim, and it may look like current 12-inch MacBook as far as design in concerned. Both of them would feature Retina Display, and those models would be available in various colors; Gold, Gray, Silver etc.. Apple is also expected to launch second generation of 12-inch MacBook, and 13-inch MacBook Air would still exist.
In 2015, Apple didn’t make any major change in 15-inch MacBook Pro, except Force Touch TrackPad. They used the same Processor and RAM that 2014 model features. However, 13-inch MacBook Pro was launched with 5th generation process, 1867 MHz ROM and Force Touch Display. So we expect 15-inch Model to get 5th Generation Intel Core i7 Processor this year as well as RAM Upgrade (Not more RAM, but better speed).
New MacBooks would be announced in June at Worldwide Developers Conference. If you are planning to buy a new MacBook, you should wait until June if possible.
