Huawei has officially launched GX8 Smartphone in the US. It seems Huawei wants to expand its business in the US now, because most of Huawei Smartphones usually don’t reach US market.

If want to buy Huawei GX8, you cam order it from Amazon. It’s an unlocked version, so it can be used with any network. The device costs $349.99, and it is available in 3 colors ; Horizontal Gold, Space Grey and Mystic Champagne. Space Grey is currently out of stock, and there are only few units left. They have mentioned that they will have more devices in stock soon.
Huawei GX8 looks elegant as far as design in concerned. It has a rounded corner, features a full metal body, weighs 167 grams, and it is 7.5 mm thick. You also have the option to choose a desired color that you like the most.
Huawei GX8 Technical Specifications
Along with design, you must know the tech specs before you go ahead to spend $350 for a smartphone. Huawei GX8 features a 5.5 inches 1080 pixels display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB ROM (expandable with MicroSD card, up to 128GB), 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front shooter, 3000 mAh battery etc.. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 octa-core (4 X 1.5GHz + 4 X 1.2GHz) and Adreno 405 GPU. The device runs Emotion UI 3.1 based on Android Lollipop 5.1. It supports dual Nano SIM card, but you can’t use 2 SIMs if you want to insert a MicroSD card, because 2nd SIM slot is optional that can use either a MicroSD card or a SIM at a time. The device is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile LTE band.
Well, Huawei has listed GX8 on Huawei Italy as well, and the specs are little different compared to one we already mentioned for US market. It shows Huawei GX8 with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, which has 1GB more ram and 16GB more space in ROM. However, we don’t have information if they will make this variant available in the US or not.
