What is Google Guitar ?

Google Guitar is a Google Doodle that was released on June 9, 2011. Google changed its search engine logo to a Guitar on Les Paul’s 96th Birthday. It is not just a logo, but a playable guitar that you can play with the mouse pointer or use the keyboard. It also has the ability to record and play it back.

Where can I Play Google Guitar ?

Google has a dedicated Doodle page where they keep all the Google Doodles they have used in the past. So you can still Play Google Guitar same way you did in 2011 when Google Released it. Click on the below link and you will be on Guitar Doodle Page.

How do I use Guitar, record and play the recorded tunes

Google guitar

  • When you are on the Google Guitar doodle page, you may hover mouse on strings or use Keyboard keys to play
  • You can hit the record button to start recording whatever you play there. Please note that it cannot record more than 30 seconds
  • After recording, you get the play icon. You can click the play button to listen whatever you have recorded. It also gives the shareable link that you could use to share the recording with your friends, but the link doesn’t work anymore. If you want to share recording please check its alternative below

Is there any alternative to Google Guitar Doodle

Yes, there is one alternative that you can use if Google Doodle doesn’t work for any reason. You can visit this page to use guitar same way as you do on Google Doodle page.
