Karbonn is not as popular as other brands are. People from India must be familiar with this Brand, but people from other countries might have heard this name first time. Karbonn started selling its devices some years ago, and expanding its business in other countries now. Devices from karbonn are cheaper than other companies. Now Karbon is reaching UK with Android One.
Android One is Google’s initiative to help manufacturer to produce Android mobiles at affordable price, and Android One is reaching Europe now. The first device of this range will be launched in UK which will cost around 130 GBP. You are in luck if you are from India as this can be availed in just $100. Indian users don’t really prefer smartphones of Karbonn, but any brand which comes with great specifications and fair price, users will like it for sure.
The first model is going to be Sparkle V Karbonn which comes with limited tech specs. You won’t like it if you are a tech person. It has a 4.5-inch IPS display along with 854X480 pixels resolution. So you see the display quality is not so good, but fair enough according to price. It is equipped with Mediatek Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, and 1GB RAM which should be fine to run the phone smoothly and multitasking can also be done.
The device will have 4GB internal storage which can be expanded with MicroSD card slot (up to 32GB). It features a 5 megapixels primary camera with LED Flash and 2 megapixels front camera to enjoy video calls. It will be available with Android 4.4.4 Kitkat, but there is also rumor that this device is going to receive Android Lollipop update in January 2015. It also supports 2 SIM cards, so you can have 2 telephone numbers in one phone. As we have told earlier that Android Lollipop gives you the option to create guest account limiting other users accessing your content or apps. So, once it is updated, it will serve a great purpose, but its 1700 mAh battery can dissatisfy some of the users.
Well, The device seems to be okay, but the better resolution and little more battery power could make a great difference. So these 2 things are not good enough in the device, rest seems to be okay.
