Huawei Nexus 6 is expected to feature Kirin 950, that would be launched in the third quarter of this year. Huawei has not announced Kirin 950 officially, but we will tell you Kirin 950 Processor Specs today.
Kirin 950 Processor Specs leaked detail
This one is the old leaked image what we published earlier
These leaks clear many things. First of all, Kirin 950 wouldn’t be a true octa-core processor. It is based on ARM architecture, but a combination of two Quad-core processor (A72+A53), just like Snapdragon 810. A72 was mentioned earlier as well, but A53 was missing that we knew today. Processor would be running at up to 2.4 GHz speed that matches with the previous leak.
Kirin 935 features Mali-T628 Graphic, that has been upgraded to Mali-T880 GPU in Kirin 950. It would have support for up to 42-megapixel camera, USB 3.0, LTE CAT 10, eMMC 5.1, UFS2.0, i7 Co-Processor (sensor hub + Connectivity + Security), Bluetooth 4.2, NFC etc..
Kirin 950 will support 4K video encoding, and will feature dual-channel LPDDR4 RAM that would have the ability to provide up to 25.6 GB/s data processing speed. The previous leak shows that Huawei would be using 16nm processor technology. Kirin 950 is expected to arrive in the 4th Quarter of the year.
Well, Kirin 950 was able to get a good Geekbench benchmark score according to the leaked image, but Huawei would fall behind after MediaTek Helio X20 launch. MediaTek has officially announced to launch Helio X20 in December, and would feature a powerful 10 core processor.
