LG G4 Pro was in rumor for some months, but the South Korean company broke the news now. LG G4 Pro will be released in the 4th Quarter of this year. It will have bigger display, more RAM and improved camera compared to LG G4.
While mentioning the launch of LG G4 Pro, company also told some technical specifications of the device that are as follows
- 5.8-inch 2K display
- 4GB LPDDR4 RAM
- Dual-camera tech
Compared to LG G4, the Pro version would have same resolution but 0.3 inches larger display. The amount of RAM has been increased from 3GB to 4GB. LG doesn’t want to leave behind when most of high-end smartphones feature 4GB RAM these days. The dual-camera technology would certainly improve the quality to stand against Galaxy Note 5 and S6 series smartphones.
If we have a look at the past, LG G2 and LG G Pro 2 both had the same chipset. If LG repeats this in case of G4 and G4 Pro, it would disappoint its users. Earlier, LG skipped Snapdragon 810 and launched LG G4 with Snapdragon 808. There is possibility that LG would go for the same chipset or bring Snapdragon 810 with G4 Pro. LG has a great opportunity to feature MediaTek Helio X20 or Snapdragon 820 SoC, that would boost the sale like anything. However, there is very less possibility that LG would do that.
