LG Recently launched LG Class, but we also expected LG V10 and LG G4 Pro that have not been announced officially. Well, LG G4 Pro has showed up on GFXBench that revealed it’s technical specification. We expected LG G4 Pro to arrive with Snapdragon 820, but it seems Qualcomm will make some delay to launch the chip, and LG would use the same chipset already found in LG G4. They seem to be afraid of Snapdragon 810, may be because of heating issue.
According to GFXBench report, LG G4 Pro would feature a 5.7 inches display with 2560 X 1440 pixels resolution, Hexa-core 64-bit 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 808 chipset, Adreno 418 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB ROM, 15-megapixel (probably 16MP) rear camera, 4.7-megapixel front camera etc.. Have a look at GFXBench specs report.
If you want to compare LG G4 Pro with existing G4, you are not getting so much from it. First of all, they didn’t bother to upgrade SoC, and used the same Snapdragon 808 that they already used in LG G4, and GPU remained the same because of this. They made the display little larger stretching 0.2 inches, and also upgraded RAM from 3GB to 4GB. However, I don’t see any reason to downgrade the front camera from 8-megapixel to almost 5-megapixel. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is still far from the device, but they would release update later (may be by the end of 2015).
Now we know that GPU remained the along with the SoC, even though if you want to see its Graphic Benchmark report. Have a look at the screenshot.
As far as pricing is concerned, LG G4 Pro would certainly be priced at higher than LG G4. So it is going to be almost three times expensive compared to Xiaomi Mi 4c that features the same GPU and CPU. You may have only a couple of reasons to choose LG G4 Pro over Mi 4c; Rear Camera, 1GB additions RAM, Metal body and finger print sensor (if G4 pro features). If paying thrice for these update makes sense for you, you are good to go.
