LG G5 has been announced today that comes with pretty good configuration and design. We are going to compare the tech specs and benchmark of some great high-end smartphone available in the market.
LG G5 vs LG G4 vs Samsung Galaxy S6 vs iPhone 6s Plus
Material
LG G5 features full metal body like iPhone 6s Plus. Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with metal body design, but on the back it has Gorilla Glass 4, and LG G4 comes in plastic body or leather design.

Display
LG has reduced the display size compared to LG G4. LG G5 features a 5.3 inches display compared to 5.5-inch in LG G4 and iPhones 6s Plus, and 5.1-inch in Galaxy S6. However, all three Android Phones features 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution compared to 1920 x 1080 pixels in iPhone 6s Plus.
However, iPhone 6s Plus also comes with some additional features, like 3D Touch and Live Photos that rest of the model lacks.

RAM, Processor and GPU
LG G5 features 4GB RAM compared to 3GB RAM in LG G4 and Galaxy S6, and 2GB RAM in iPhones 6s Plus. iPhone 6s Plus features dual-core Apple A9 CPU and PowerVR GT7600 six-core GPU, Galaxy S6 comes with octa-core Exynos 7420 CPU and Mali-T760MP8 GPU, LG G4 features a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 CPU combined with Adreno 418 GPU, and LG G5 has latest quad-core Snapdragon 820 CPU and Adreno 530 GPU inside.

Storage
The good thing about LG is that they don’t miss expandable option. Among all four models only LG G4 and LG G5 has MicroSD card slot to expand the storage, and rest 2 models come with internal storage only that can’t be expanded, but you have the choice to choose one from 3 available storage options.

Battery
LG G4 and LG G5 both have removable battery, so you can keep an addition battery for emergency if you want to. iPhone 6s Plus and Galaxy S6 has in-built battery, and you can’t remove it unless open the device with screw driver that may avoid warranty. LG has reduced the battery power in new model, but it may not affect more, because Snapdragon 820 consumes less power compared to Snapdragon 808.

Camera
These days camera is one of the very important part in smartphones. Snapdragon 820 is capable of capturing DSL quality images, but we will see if LG G5 has got this once the device is available to purchase.
