When it comes to major Android updates, Samsung has always been criticized by users. Their policy is not quite clear for how many months/years or how many times a device would receive the update. Sometimes they don’t provide even a single OS update, just like they did in case of Galaxy E7, and sometimes they release update for those devices that we never expected.
Well, A Weibo user posted a list of some Samsung smartphone that would receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.They claim those devices have been confirmed by Samsung. Check the list if your device is there.

According to source, this is the first batch of list that will be updated, and there will be more devices to receive Android 6.0.The list is quite obvious, but Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Tab is a surprise. We expect the update to reach Galaxy A5, A7 and A8 as well.
However, we don’t have any detail when the update will be released, but they should start releasing it from December. Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has already been released for Android Open Source Project, and now it’s the smartphone manufacturers that need to customize their own User Interface, and make it available for their devices. Those who are tied up with their careers, will have to wait some additional time. Nexus users are always in luck when it comes to receive major updates.
