Android 6.0 will be launched in the third quarter, and Huawei Nexus 6 and LG Nexus 5 would be the first device to get that. Thereafter, update will be launched by various companies and carriers. We all know all the smartphones would not receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, but we have got a list of the Android devices those are likely to get the update. Here is the list:

Android 6.0 Update For “Nexus” Devices
According to the list, Google Nexus 5, Motorola Nexus 6 and Nexus 7 will get the update. However, they missed Nexus 9. Android 6.0 Marshmallow developer preview is already available to download for Nexus 9 along with Nexus 5 and Nexus 6.
Android 6.0 Update for “Motorola” Devices
Motorola got a big list that includes Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X and Moto E 2nd Gen, Droid Turbo, Moto G 2nd and 3rd Gen.
Android 6.0 Update for “Android One” Devices
Android One is the Google initiative and Google promises for quick update. It includes Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Drams UNO, Karbon Sparkle V, New Lava Iris Pixel V1, Nexian Journey One, and Android One Series launched in South East Asian markets and Africa.
Android 6.0 Update for “Lenovo” Devices
Lenovo has the smallest list here including Only K3 Note, ZUK Z1 and Vibe Shot.
Android 6.0 Update for “Samsung” Devices
Samsung users are always upset about not getting updates. This update is likely to reach the latest models, Galaxy Note 5, S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge as well as Note 4, Note 4 Edge, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A8.

This update would reach HTC One M9, M8, M9 Plus, E9 and E9 Plus
Android 6.0 Update for “Sony” Devices
Sony also has a large list of devices that are expected to the Android Marshmallow update. It includes Sony Xperia Z3 Plus and Z4, Z3 and Z3 Compact, Z2, Z2 Ultra Google Play Edition, Xperia M5 and C5 Ultra.

There are just 3 devices that are likely to get update : LG G4, G3 and Flex 2
Android 6.0 Update for “Asus” Devices
All the Zenfone 2 series is likely to get update including Zenfone 2 laser, Deluxe and Zenfone Selfie.
Android 6.0 Update for “OnePlus” Devices
OnePlus doesn’t have more devices available, and they have their own customization. So the update should reach OnePlus 2 and OnePlus One via OxygenOS.
Android 6.0 Update for “Xiaomi” Devices
Xiaomi are well known for making high-end smartphones at affordable price, but the company are too lazy to update older devices. Most of the old devices including Mi 4 are still running on Android Kitkat. They recently released MIUI 7 that is based on Android Lollipop. Android 6.0 Marshmallow update would reach Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, Mi Note, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Redmi Note 2 and Redmi 2. Mi 3 users must be upset.
Android 6.0 Update for “Huawei” Devices
For Huawei, the list incomplete in itself as you can see it mentioned there would be more devices to get the update. However, this list includes only Huawei Ascend P8, Mate 7 and Honor 6 Plus.
Android 6.0 Update for “iBerry featured Elephone” Devices
iBerry is an Indian brand that is not well known. Android 6.0 update has already been confirmed for iBerry Prime P8000 that is also known as Elephone P8000.
These were the list of Smartphones that are expected to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, but this doesn’t mean they are the only devices to get the update. That’s just a list made by expert, and other device may or may not be included, and there might be situation when the listed device will not get update as well.
