As we know Microsoft has taken a good step to provide free Windows OS for mobiles, it might help to boost Windows Phone sales, because the price can be cheaper. So, Micromax is ready with its two Windows Phones with the latest OS “Windows 8.1” and one of them is as cheaper as 6500 RS. So, here is the detail;
Canvas Win W092
This model incorporates a 4 inches WVGA IPS display with 800X480 pixels resolution and supports dual SIM with dual stand-by. The smartphone will be equipped with Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset. Micromax has used the latest operating system for Windows phone known as Windows 8.1.
The smartphone will have 1GB RAM to make your job faster on the smartphone, 8GB internal storage along with the expandable MicroSD card slot that supports up to 32 GB.
Canvas Win W092 will have a 5 megapixels primary camera and a secondary VGA camera to serve the video calling feature. Primary camera has an LED flash as well. It will have a battery with 1500 mAh capacity. This smartphone is expected to be launched in July 2014, and will have a price tag of 6500 RS.
The display is not enough good to watch HD videos and the 1500 mAh can discharge the phone soon as well, but what do you expect for 6500 RS? Price is fair enough for the latest windows OS, quad core processor and 1GB RAM.
Canvas Win W121
This model is little advanced, and can serve you in a better way with its 5 inches HD IPS display with 1280X720 pixels resolution that is fair enough to watch HD movies and enjoy games.This model is featured with dual SIM as well.
Canvas Win W121 will have the same processor, chipset, Operation System, RAM and storage capacity as in Canvas Win W092, but its camera will be more powerful as it is featured with a 8 megapixels primary and 2 megapixels secondary camera.
There is no information about its battery at this time, but I hope Micromax will not put the same 1500 mAh battery with this model too, and if they do, it can be annoying.
This model has been set to release in July 2014 as well, and will cost around 9500 RS.
So the major differences between these two models are the Display and Camera, not sure about the battery as they have not revealed any detail.
