Forget the unofficial announcements or accidental leaks – here Microsoft has officially announced the Lumia 640 and Lumia smartphones XL 640, so you can be sure that people who use the Windows Phone platform, or would like to make the leap, now may enjoy two different models. After all, new models of smartphones powered by Windows are few, so worth taking a look at any new release, and what better if they are made by the incredible company Microsoft.
While these two smartphones are powered by Windows Phone 8.1, you can upgrade to Windows 10 while the new operating system put is available, which should provide a high level of personal computing and productivity. The Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL have 1GB of RAM and a powerful quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz. The Lumia 640 will have a 5 inch screen with HD resolution, while the Lumia 640 XL lives up to its name – it’s a 5.7 inch display screen area. On the battery capacity, the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL will come with 2,500 mAh battery and 3,000 mAh, respectively.
At the back of the Lumia 640 there’s an 8MP camera, while the Lumia 640 XL has a 13MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, and both have front camera for video calls via Skype or other apps. In addition to LTE connectivity, has dual SIM capabilities with Smart Dual SIM feature this ensures that people never miss a call. The Lumia reach worldwide during the month of March in matte colors, cyan, orange and black, bright white, matte, while the Lumia 640 will arrive a month later in bright cyan and white, orange, as well as black matte.
