Important: This method conceals text inside image pixels but does not use a password or modern cryptographic encryption. Do not use it as the only protection for passwords, financial details, medical records or other highly sensitive information. Image compression, resizing or conversion to JPG can destroy the hidden message.
How the Text-to-Image Tool Works
The encoder converts your message into UTF-8 bytes and stores those values in the red, green, and blue channels of a very small PNG image. The preview is enlarged so you can see it, but the downloaded file keeps its original compact dimensions. To recover the message, upload the unchanged PNG in the Decode Image tab.
Usage Guide
- Open Encode Text and type or paste your message.
- Select Create Encoded PNG and review the generated preview.
- Download the original PNG file and send it without resizing or converting it.
- The recipient can open this page, choose Decode Image, and upload the PNG.
- Copy the recovered message or save it as a TXT file.
Unicode and Older Encoded Images
The current format supports paragraphs, line breaks, emoji, accented characters, Arabic, Urdu, and other Unicode writing systems. Its decoder also recognizes images generated by the earlier version of this page, so previously created message images remain usable.
Privacy and Security Limitations
Encoding a message inside pixels makes the text unreadable at a glance, but it is not the same as password-based cryptographic encryption. Anyone who has the image and knows about this decoder may recover the message. Do not use this tool as the only protection for passwords, banking details, identity documents, medical records, or other highly sensitive information.
