Build a repeating chord progression without installing a VST instrument or digital audio workstation. Choose a tonic, musical mode and eight-chord sequence, then select an arpeggio pattern to hear the chord notes performed individually.

The keyboard display highlights active bass and treble notes as the progression plays. Change any setting while experimenting, and use the output panel to see the selected key, mode and chord names.

Customize the Arpeggio Pattern and Tempo

Select three, four, five or six arpeggio steps and choose a straight or looped pattern. More steps produce many additional note-order possibilities. Tempo controls range from relaxed 45 BPM movement to a faster 150 BPM sequence.

The available modes include Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, Locrian, major, minor, melodic minor and harmonic minor. Combining a different root, mode, chord progression and note pattern can produce dramatically different results.

Record and Download the Generated Music as WAV

Select Record generated music to begin capturing the synthesizer’s stereo output. Playback starts automatically when it is paused. When the clip is long enough, select Stop & download WAV to save an uncompressed audio file to your device.

Recording and WAV creation happen locally in the browser. No microphone is used, and the generated audio is not uploaded to the website.
