A new Oppo smartphone has been certified by Tenaa on April 6. We don’t know the model name so far, but the Tenaa listing shows the device as Oppo A37m, that could be a code or model number of the device. It’s a mid-range smartphone that has been made to look premium.
Oppo A37m has been wrapped in full metal body, and it will be available in Gold as well as Rose Gold color. The device features 143.1×71×7.68 mm dimension and weighs 140 grams.
Oppo A37m smartphone doesn’t feature a great hardware inside, but comes with fair enough power for basic users. It features a 5-inch HD Display (1280 x 720 pixels), 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB with MicroSD card), 2550 mAh battery, 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front shooter etc.. Th device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box, and there is no guarantee for such model to receive Android Marshmallow in future. It supports Full HD Video recording.
In terms of Processor, Tenaa has not given the name what CPU it features, but they did mention it to be an octa-core 1.5 GHz processor. The good think is that we have also found the same model on GeekBench 3, and they have clearly mentioned the device to feature Mediatek MT6750 CPU.
As far as benchmarking score is concerned, it scored 656 in single-core and 2705 in multi-core performance. The score is quite similar to Snapdragon 615 benchmark score.
