Qualcomm announces Snapdragon 430 and 617

Along with Snapdragon 820, 620 and 618, Qualcomm has announced two new chipset today; Snapdragon 617 and 430. These are 2 SoCs to serve mid-range phones in a better way.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617
Snapdragon 617 supports X8 LTE Modem with Cat 7 download speed that could provide downloading speed of up to 300 Mbps, and up to 100 Mbps uploading speed. It is based on ARM Cortex A53 architecture, and supports Quick Charge 3.0. It is also an octa-core chip that can reach the clock speed of up to 1.5GHz, and would be combined with Adreno 405 GPU and Hexagon 546 DSP. Its Dual-ISPs powering chip can support up to 21-megapixels Photos. Smartphones with this chip wold arrive by the end of this year.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430
Snapdragon 430 is also based on ARM Cortex A53 architecture, and features an octa-core CPU that can reach the maximum clock speed of 1.2 GHz. This chip would feature Adreno 505 GPU and Hexagon 536 DSP. Snapdragon 430 is X6 LTE ready with Cat 4 downlink speed of up to 150 Mbps, that is just half of Snapdragon 617. Its Cat5 uplink speed integration can reach up to 75Mbps of uploading speed. It will support up to 21-megapixels photos with Dual-ISPs integration, and supports Quick Charge 3.0 as well.
