Samsung Galaxy A9 may feature a 6 inches display

Samsung Galaxy A9 was spotted via Antutu that showed it with 5.5 inches Full HD display, but the recent leak suggests otherwise. Recently some smartphones (SM-A9000) has been imported in India from South Korea for testing and evaluation purpose, found on Zuaba’s import list. In the item list it shows as SM-A9000, S.S-6, where 6 could be the display size. The listed price for each unit is 16501 RS that is roughly around $251. Have a look at the screenshot below.

Samsung Galaxy A7 features a 5.5 inches display, Galaxy A8 was launched with 5.7 inches display, so there is possibility that Galaxy A9 would arrive with 6 inches display. However, 6-inch smartphone is not as popular as 5.5 or 5.7 inches. It is too large to fit in the pocket, and this could decrease the sale. 6 inches may be the full size of Galaxy A9 including display and body, and the actual display size could still be 5.5 or 5.7 inches. It would be clear once Samsung unveil this model.

In regard to tech specs, Samsung Galaxy A9 would feature a Full HD (1080 pixels) display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 620 CPU, Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage that can be expanded via MicroSD card, and the device would be powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Galaxy A9 is already being tested, so we expect the launch soon.
