Samsung Galaxy A9 Tech Specs
According to the latest Galaxy A9 tech specs exposure, it would feature a 6-inches Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 3GB RAM, 32GB Internal Storage that can be expanded with MicroSD card, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 Chipset, Adreno 510 GPU, 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS and f/1.9 aperture, 8-megapixel front camera, 4000 mAh battery, Finger Print Sensor etc.. Unfortunately, it will not run Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS as it’s powered by Android Lollipop 5.1.1, and the update may arrive later.
Samsung Galaxy A9 will also support Samsung Pay, and it is expected to arrive by the end of December. It would be priced at 3000 Chinese Yuan (around $465). The price seems high for Snapdragon 652 powered device, but this is cheaper than the price they tagged for Galaxy A8 at launch, which was 3199 Chinese Yuan.
Galaxy A9 features metal frame covered by 2.5D Glass, and we also expect Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The display is quite larger that every users will not be comfortable with, but the larger size gave Samsung a chance to put larger battery inside. So 4000 mAh battery is a great deal.
Galaxy A9 Benchmark score was leaked earlier via GeekBench 3, and it scored 1446 in single-core and 4134 in multi-core performance. Galaxy A9 tech specs appeared on GeekBench 3 matches the specs we mentioned in this article. Considering the benchmark score, it seems Snapdragon 652 is as powerful as Snapdragon 810 chip.
