There have been 2 instances of benchmark leaks earlier for Samsung Galaxy S8, one as SM-950U and the Other as SM-950F. These 2 models were benchmarked by Geekbench. One of them was found with Snapdragon 835 and the other with Exynos 8895.
Now a new model SM-N9500 appeared on Antutu revealing its partial tech specs and benchmark. Antutu calls it a suspected Galaxy Note 8 and this could be because of unbelievable resolution for the display.
Samsung SM-9500 was running Android 7.1.1 OS and found with 6GB RAM, 64GB ROM, Snapdragon 835 CPU, and Adreno 540 GPU. The camera setup appeared as 8MP + 12MP. So we expect the device to feature 12MP dual rear camera and 8MP front camera.
However, the resolution part is very confusing that appears as 1080 x 2220 pixels. The rumor is about a display between 6.2 to 6.4 inch with 1440 X 2960 pixel resolution. So the resolution part might be confusing but it seems that the benchmark report shows the default FHD resolution that users will be able to increase up to 1440 x 2960 pixels. According to Antutu Report, it scored around 179,000.
Samsun is expected to release Galaxy Note 8 on August 23, 2017. So are you ready to buy one or just want to wait for a few days after the launch to see if it still blasts like Note 7? Just kidding!
