Please Subscribe to our YouTube Channel
Let us remind you that Snapdragon 650 was known as 618 and Snapdragon 652 was known as 620, Qualcomm has changed the name later considering its great performance. Snapdragon 650 and 652 features almost the same specs, but there is only one difference; 650 features a hexa-core processor and 652 features octa-core. So Snapdragon 652 would score better in terms of multi-core performance, but Single-core would remain the same.
Snapdragon 650 vs Snapdragon 808 vs Mediatek Helio X10 Specs
Here is a quick look on CPU, GPU, and Modem
The best part of Snapdragon 808 is its LTE modem with Cat 9 that beats rest 2 in terms of downloading speed, but Snapdragon 650 can still upload data faster than rest 2 CPUs.
Antutu Benchmark comparison
According to Antutu Report, Among these three processors, Snapdragon 650 is the best in terms of performance. Helio X10 average Antutu score is 48354, Snapdragon 808 score is 70087 and Snapdragon 650 rocks with 78679.
You must be thinking that among Adreno 510, Adreno 418 or Power VR G6200 which one is the best? Well, Adreno 510 leads in GPU performance as well. Antutu report shows that Helio X10 average GPU score is 11890, Snapdragon 808 Graphic Score is 17469, and Snapdragon 650 score is 19464. PowerVR G6200 quite behind compared to Adreno 510.
This comparison also defines the difference between Redmi Note 3 Pro and Redmi Note 3. Pro version features Snapdragon 650 CPU and the non-pro version was launched with Helio X10 Chip. Redmi Note 3 Pro 16GB model costs 100 Chinese Yuan (around $15) more than Redmi Note 3. The little price difference will give you much better CPU, GPU and LTE performance.

u might have missed out recent news that Xiaomi going to lock bootloader on their newer range of products such like, Mi Note Pro, MiPad2, Redmi Note 3 / 3 Pro, Mi5 (soon), Redmi 3. So you have no hope for Cyanogenmod ROM port for it.

Hey guys i ve been watching the new snapdragon 650 and gotta say i am surprised, but i have a question,is it better to go with a device sporting 650(redmi note 3 pro) or a device with 810(letv le 1 pro).In the benchmarks most of the things are in 650’s favours but in real life is it better than the 810?I mean are the 2-core a72 realy that better in everyday use?

You can make a conclusion considering these points:
1) Devices with Snapdragon 810 is much expensive compared to Redmi Note 3 Pro with Snapdragon 650
2) Snapdragon 810 is the most criticized Chipset in Qualcomm’s history due to heat and unstable performance (Not applicable for all devices)
3) Snapdragon 650 is much better in single-core performance compared to Snapdragon 810. Single-core performance has more importance in device performance, and this is the main reason Snapdragon 820 doesn’t feature an octa-core processor. They reduced the number of cores, and made single-core stronger

What little 650 gives-up to 810, the 652 won’t- which I believe is a more appropriate comparison for 810. For 650 the 808 should be direct comparison point.
Both 65x are better in most aspects than their ‘predecessor’ and much better on an overall basis. That after being built on an inferior process.

The Letv hands down, there phones just blew me away. I was extremely dubious buying one however after the first 20 minutes of use, I complete fell head over heals for it. Just a fantastic phone in every way possible. Unfortunately it was stolen, boooooo, not all bad as I replaced it with Nextbit Robin. This phone get’s a lot of looks and questions from people, I can’t go anywhere without someone stopping, which coincidentally, has a Qualcomm 808. I find the performance really good, everything is smooth, lag free, games fly on it, I even connected a USB C Hub to it, than a monitor, mouse, keyboard and use it as my desktop computer. Yes, really, now I am running LinuxDeploy, with Arch Linux under a Chroot with all of my favorite and needed Linux apps installed, so it’s not like I’m really compromising anything. They run just fine. It’s funny that the Lumia 950 is supposedly the phone to get if you want to use your phone as desktop computer, however I found Continuum way to limited for my needs, that and there were simply no apps available. Even trying to use it a ChromeBox or cloud computer was impossible as the cloud apps kept crashing under Edge for ARM. Anyway, using my phone this way prompted me to buy a Nvidia Shield TV, I installed Linux on it, removing Android and it’s a fantastic little computer, extremely fast, in fact it feels faster than my ThinkPad X230T with a i5, it defiantly encodes videos faster, like ten times faster. The power of GPU computing, I’m so happy with it that I’m going to replace my ThinkPad with a Pixel C and do the same thing, install Arch Linux, though this time I will keep Android and just do a dual boot thing.

How do you like it? I like Xiaomi phones as they’re built extremely well and give you really great specs for limited amounts of money. The only thing I found not so good was the MiUI UI, I’m not a fan of the continuas app tray as the main home page, similar to what iOS uses, in fact Xiaomi is pretty scanless when it comes to mirroring Apple’s ideas. However you can still install a custom launcher, in which I highly recommend you do. I’m particular to SmartLaucher Pro 3 but it’s your phone so I would test a few to find the one you like.

Well here are some facts. The build quality is too good for this price tag, battery is good enough to last 2 days (4g or wlan, gaming, messages, calls),the cpu is too fast and i never saw any sort of lag or spike, everything run smoothly.
But some food for thought, the ram when idle is 1.5gb free out of 3 and the miui doesnt have play store or anything that a western user needs, too many chinese apps preinstalled.Overall a great phone man and i would buy it again.

You can install Google Play Store, which I also recommend. You don’t necessarily have to install any of the Google apps, though there are a few worth installing. Doing so will make it easier to install and keep apps updated. Yes, there are alternative market places but none of them, except for Amazon’s store, come close to being as secured as Google’s when it comes Malware and virus protection. If you still don’t want to use it, try apkhere.com, they scan their apps daily, multiple times and keep their apps pretty up to date except. They also host many of the Pro, Full and Premium versions of apps for free, they of course give you the whole, “only to be used for testing and home use” but you know what this means.

Quoting: “Antutu report shows that Helio X10 average GPU score is 3309, Snapdragon
808 Graphic Score is 6723, and Snapdragon 650 score is 8110″…. as per the charts the ‘GPU’ scores are 11890, 17496 & 19464 respectively.
What you have specified seems to be the single core CPU scores…
