Samsung and LG both have announced new Smartphones. LG G5 features Snapdragon 820 CPU combined with Adreno 530 GPU, and Samsung Galaxy S7 also features the same CPU and GPU, but it has been launched in one more variant with Exynos 8890 CPU plus Mali T880MP12 GPU. And we already know iPhone 6s or 6s Plus features Apple A9 CPU and PowerVR GT7600 GPU. So which one is the best in terms of CPU and GPU performance?
Anandtech has performed a couple of benchmark test that includes GFXBench test for GPU Benchmark, Google Octane V2 and Kraken 1.1 test for Javascript and browser performance.
Snapdragon 820 vs Exynos 8890 vs Apple A9
GPU Benchmark (GFXBench)
According to GFXBench T-Rex Score report, Snapdragon 820 holds the first position, Exynos 8890 holds second, and Apple A9 managed to get the third position
In GFXBench Manhattan Benchmark, Snapdragon 820 didn’t lose its first position, but Apple A9 pushed Exynos 8890 behind.
JavaScript and Browser Performance (Google Octane V2 and Kraken 1.1)
Apple A9 turned out to be a leader as far as browser and javascript performance is concerned
CPU Benchmark (GeekBench 3)
In terms of CPU Performance, Apple A9 leads as far as single-core performance is concerned, but in multi-core Exynos 8890 scores the highest as it has 8 cores compared to 4-core in Snapdragon 820 and 2-core in Apple A9.

CPU Benchmark (Antutu)
Antutu has recently changed its algorithm to measure the device performance. Any device with better single-core performance scores better on Antutu as it shows the overall score.
