Xiaomi Released Redmi 3 in January with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 5-inch HD display, octa-core Snapdragon 616 CPU, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera and 4100 mAh battery. We were expecting Redmi 3S or Redmi 3A, but Xiaomi has released Redmi 3 Pro now. However, it doesn’t feature the same specs we found on Tenaa for Redmi 3S (or 3A), so this is something different.
Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro features the same design with full metal body, and also the same Display, Resolution, Camera, battery and CPU. However, they have upgraded RAM, ROM and added a Finger Print Sensor that Redmi 3 lacks. Redmi 3 Pro comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage, and a Finger Print Scanner on its rear panel.
If you were planning to buy Redmi 3, you should wait for some more days. Redmi 3 Pro costs only 200 Chinese Yuan more (around $31) compared to Redmi 3. It will go on sale from April 6 in China with a price tag of 899 Chinese Yuan (around $138), whereas Redmi 3 costs 699 Chinese Yuan (around $107).
